Stephen Ladd has taken an unorthodox path to becoming
a recognized specialist in the field of corrective exercise and
fitness. As an undergraduate student, he studied psychology, philosophy,
and religion. After graduating summa cum laude from Miami University,
receiving BA with honors, he continued his graduate work in Comparative
Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San
Francisco.
Although he was known for spending entire weekends in the library,
Stephen was not simply an “egghead”. He also had an
intense interest in human anatomy and movement. Thus began his study
of strength and conditioning and Applied Kinesiology.

During the past eight years Stephen has traveled across the country

of exercise physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, physical therapy,
