The golf swing is a very complex athletic movement that requires synchronization
of every muscle and joint in the body. It produces significant stress
on the spine, hips, and shoulders. It is imperative that your body
is conditioned properly to effectively dissipate these forces. If
you have muscle imbalances and/or a weak core, one or more of these
areas of your body will be overworked. The inevitable result will
be less than optimal performance and, sooner or later, injury.
In order to play to your full potential and avoid being sidelined
by injuries, you must condition specifically for
golf!

About Coach Stephen |

Stephen Ladd is the founder of Renegade Golf, LLC. This cutting-edge system addresses the components of golf fitness, nutrition, and mental game training for peak performance.
Stephen has undergone extensive education and is certified by the two most recognized golf-specific training programs in the world: The Titleist Performance Institute and the C.H.E.K Golf Biomechanics Program.
Stephen is NOT a golf instructor. Instructions
on specific swing mechanics and course management skills should
come from a PGA teaching professional. Stephen is a holistic golf fitness professional and mental game coach, and is not concerned
with your clubs, but rather with your body’s physical ability
to use them as tools.

The Renegade Golf Conditioning
Program is a holistic, scientifically based program customized to your body and specific to the sport of golf.
- Assessment: A comprehensive evaluation revealing
any limits to range of motion, muscle imbalances, or weaknesses
- Flexibility: Personalized stretches to restore
symmetry and balance
- Stability: Exercises that promote static and
dynamic stability, balance and coordination
- Strength: Only the strong shall survive the
demands of golf
- Power: strength + speed = Power = longer drives

Program Schedule |
The comprehensive assessment is required of all new clients. It is
recommended that each client get a re-assessment at the end of each
training phase.
Individual one-on-one instruction is provided by Stephen for all stretches
and exercises for each phase. Generally only two or three sessions
are needed for most clients to feel comfortable working on their own
for the remainder of the training phase.
Another option is to work directly with Stephen each session throughout
the phase. Many clients have found this format to yield the best results,
especially in the latter phases of the program (dynamic strength and power). |

"Before I started working
with Stephen, I had significant limitations in my golf swing. I had
always been a big hitter (averaging around 245 yards a drive). Stephen
watched me take a few cuts with my driver and estimated that I was
only reaching about 75% of my drive potential. I had tightness throughout
my body, causing me to “muscle” the club, rather than
swinging freely through the ball.
After just a few weeks of working with Stephen, I noticed that my
shoulder and hip were starting to loosen up. Surprisingly,
